Development builds
Development versions bring bug fixes, new features and fresh bugs. And the new bugs have to be found and fixed. I you would like to help with testing,
Unstable builds may break frequently during a development cycle and no support is guaranteed. Please subscribe to development mailing list to be informed about current or planned breakages. You can also browse the public archive. Please do not use Questions and Answers section at Launchpad, it is used for stable releases only. Development versions usually have disabled some compiler optimizations and embedded debugging symbols to make debugging easier. As a result, these builds may have bigger memory consumption and may run noticeably slower, depending on your hardware. Please refer to INSTALL file in the source code tree, if you want to override default configuration of the build process.
